Nzoia Sugar are planning to elevate the club’s trainer Peter Gin to the rank of assistant coach once the former midfielder completes the CAF D coaching course.The club has been without a substantive assistant coach for a while as Gin has been doubling as a helper to Salim Babu.##NAJAVA_MECA_7060429##Nzoia have been without an assistant coach from December 2021 when Sylvester Mulukurwa threw in the towel alongside the then club boss Ibrahim Shikanda.Club chairman Evance Kadenge revealed that the management had elected to promote Gin on a condition that he would further his studies.He said, the Bungoma based club was not in a hurry to hire an assistant as they had been impressed with Gin’s potential and the run of results the team has achieved under his partnership with Babu.Gin happy to have tested his coaching abilites“We are not hiring an assistant at the moment. The plan we have is to allow Gin go for the CAF C coaching course and promote him to the position.
