Mourinho misbehaved at the Under 14 Roma – Lazio derby?

Jose Mourinho is the main story in the Italian football press today, and of course, it’s not because Roma did something great. On the contrary. The experienced coach got the red card in an embarrassing defeat in Cremonese, but apart from the fine he received, Mourinho’s name was also mentioned in another scandal – at the U14 game!Mourinho celebrating Roma’s U-14 derby win with the team pic.twitter.com/g97XTYTrr6— monifantasi (@monifantasi) February 28, 2023 As far as Cremonese game is concerned, the Portuguese got into an argument with the fourth official and the referee gave him the red card. Mourinho even claimed he is looking at the possibility of a legal action against the fourth official, but in the meantime, he received a two match ban and a 10.000 euros fine, since he “entered the referee dressing room” and used “gravely offensive expressions”. But he was not the only one punished. According to the Italian media, referee Marco Piccini and fourth official Marco Serra are set to miss out on officiating in any of the next round of Serie A fixtures following controversy in that game. Footage has emerged on social media, which appears to show Serra telling Mourinho to “go home” and “everyone is taking the p*** out of you” after the coach was sent off.Mourinho wants to take legal action against the refereeApart from that, according to ‘Il Messaggero’, as quoted by ‘Gazzetta’, Mourinho was accused by arch rivals Lazio for unsportsmanlike conduct during a U14 derby between the Biancocelesti and Roma last week. Apparently Mourinho went to the game and booed a Lazio player, Alexandru Miloiu from the stands, while telling the young Giallorossi footballers to waste time pretending they had a muscle cramp. Lazio website VoceLazio also reported that Mourinho and the senior players of the Roma squad who were also watching the match adopted a behavior which ‘went against respect and sportsmanship, insulting opponents and telling their players to waste time.’Mourinho praises Osimhen, comparing him to Drogba: “They’re the same except for one thing…”While serving suspension, Mourinho will miss Juventus and Sassuolo games. This was his third red card while in Roma, most than any other Serie A coach. He has also been cautioned a further three times, in matches against Udinese, Napoli and most recently against Hellas Verona. An interesting, but a strange tradition says that Roma doesn’t lose matches when Mourino is suspended. The game against Juventus will be another opportunity to test the theory.##NAJAVA_MECA_7059939##
