Bandari FC head coach Anthony Kimani has lauded the impact the new signings have had in the team. The Mombasa-based FKF Premier League outfit signed three players immediately after the transfer window swung open. The three are Amos Asembeka from Wazito FC, Joe Waithira from Sofapaka, and Johanna Mwita, who made a comeback six months after exiting the Dockers.##NAJAVA_MECA_7079984##The players made their debuts over the weekend against the Administration Police in the Mozzart Bet Cup round of 32 game.On Wednesday against Tusker, Asembeka started the match in the middle of the park before he got hooked off in the second half. Waithira was introduced at the hour mark, while Mwita was a late introduction and even had an easy opportunity to score but missed it.Despite suffering a defeat at the hands of the Brewers at the Ruaraka Grounds, Kimani had a lot of positives to take from the match, and among them was the performance of his new arrivals. He was particularly happy with Mwita and Waithira’s cameo performances.”We might see one more new face. I think the club will communicate that as and when it is convenient, ” Kimani said when asked if he was going to sign more players before the window closes,”.Ex Wazito FC pair of Joe Waithira and Amos Asembeka is set to join Bandari FC.
