World Rally Championship (WRC) Safari Rally Kenya has dropped budding female rally driver Maxine Wahome from their Young Rally Stars Programme, according to reports.This is following a recent court case where Wahome was officially charged with the murder of her late boyfriend Assad Khan who succumbed to multiple stab wounds in an incident that occurred on the night of 25th February 2023 at the couple’s home in Nairobi.According to the prosecution, Maxine and Khan had a heated argument that escalated into a physical altercation where Maxine allegedly grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her boyfriend multiple times, leading to his death.Maxine Wahome charged with murder of boyfriend Asad KhanThe police arrested Maxine the following day and held her in custody for further investigation.
