For years now, ‘The Mother of all derbies’, as the Schalke – Borussia game is called has been all but a derby. One of the fiercest rivalries in Europe has turned into a one-way street: Dortmund win. Dortmund has won the last four derbies by an aggregate score of 12-0 and no Schalke fan will look fondly to today’s match.
