Nzoia Sugar FC tactician Salim Babu has exuded confidence that the team will bounce back from the winless streak they have been under recently. The Millers have not won any of their last five matches since picking a 3-1 win over Kariobangi Sharks, recording four draws and one loss in that time, the most recent one being the two-all draw against Kenya Police at home.Speaking to Mozzart Sport, Babu rued concentration lapses in those games but remained hopeful that the team will find its footing once the league resumes.##NAJAVA_MECA_7108300##Apart from concentration lapses, the tactician will also be working on the team’s striking force to ensure they score goals efficiently.”It has been a tough period for us but I am confident that once we return from this break we shall turn things around. We have had concentration lapses in those matches and that has cost us maximum points. We have only played three games in the second leg and we will utilize this break to rectify on areas where we have not gotten it right to bounce back strongly. Another area that has troubled us is striking and I am hopeful that we correct that also. We have been using so much energy to find goals to a point that it is draining us when we have to defend what we have scored,” the youthful tactician said.Commenting on their display against Police, Babu insisted that they were the better team tactically and only gave away cheap goals early in the second half and very late in the game due to concentration lapses. Why Eric Johana will miss Harambee Stars’ friendly against Iran”Apart from the moments where we allowed Police back into the game by gifting them easy equalizers, we played very well and tactically I was satisfied with the game. Our main undoing in the game was our concentration against a very good opponent who capitalized on our mistakes to share the points,” Babu added.Although the midseason transfer window is currently open, Nzoia are not looking forward to making any additions to the team.”The team that we have is good to get the job done and so we will not be making any more signings in mid-season,” he finished.
