Kakamega Homeboyz are interested in Nzoia Suga FC winger Felicien Okanda and have formally written to the millers expressing their interest in acquiring the services of the Congolese player.The forward has been with Nzoia for four years now but it appears that he is set to cut ties with the club after Homeboyz wrote to the Salim Babu led team to inform them of their intentions to sign the player who has already agreed terms with the Kakamega based club.##NAJAVA_MECA_7118270##Nzoia chairman Evans Kadenge has confirmed that they have formally received the interest of Homeboyz but are yet to make a decision on whether to release the player or keep hold of him. He says the club executive will meet to deliberate on the issue.”We have not released the player or reached any agreement with Homeboyz. They wrote to us expressing their interest in signing the player, but we are yet to make a decision regarding the same; we will have a committee meeting to decide whether to allow him to leave or keep hold of him,” Kadenge told Mozzart Sport.With four days left before the transfer window closes, Nzoia have made just one signing. Winger James Kibande, who has scored in the last two games, was acquired from Kenya Police, and Kadenge does not expect to have more departures or arrivals.”So far, we have signed Kibande and we have not lost any of our players, and if things remain the same, then we are not going to make any changes in the squad; we have full confidence in the playing unit,” he added.Nzoia will be in action on Tuesday 28th March against Ulinzi Stars in Sudi Stadium.
