Kenya drop down one place in latest FIFA world rankings

The men’s national football team Harambee Stars has dropped from position 101 to 102 in the latest rankings released by world football governing body FIFA.This comes after the team, currently handled by Engin Firat, lost 2-1 to Iran in an international friendly match played last month in Tehran in what was the team’s first outing since November 2021.This is the first time Kenya is dropping back to position 102 since 6 October 2022 when they ascended to position 101.Harambee Stars drop from position 101 to 102 in the latest FIFA World Rankings released today.EAC member states1. Tanzania are fourth in the region (130) ahead of fifth placed Rwanda (137). Burundi are sixth (141) while South Sudan (165) close the East African members bracket.In the African region, Morocco (11) maintained their ranked as the best country on the continent ahead of Senegal (18) and Tunisia (28).
