AUGUSTA, Ga. — It all comes down to this.
Four players are within five shots of the lead as the final round of the 2023 Masters begins on Sunday afternoon at Augusta National Golf Club, setting up for what could be a thrilling finale to what has been an interesting week.
Inclement weather has wreaked havoc on the tournament week schedule and the course itself. Three trees fell during Friday’s second round, making for a wild scene that eventually led to the week’s second of three suspensions of play.
One of the biggest storylines of the week was the presence of 18 LIV Golf players in the field, and one is at the top of the leaderboard. Four-time major champion Brooks Koepka holds a two-shot lead over world No. 2 Jon Rahm, with Viktor Hovland three shots back. Patrick Cantlay also has a chance to make a move for his first major title from five shots back.
