I urge football authorities to ensure we maintain such opponents. it is the only way we can improve.It was a big motivation for us to play Iran considering that it is a team that has been to the World Cup many times. I had been out for more than one month and had not played in the league and so I badly needed to be match-fit. I got that opportunity,” he offered.The midfielder admitted that it had been difficult to build cohesion as the players were coming together after a long lay-off but since all players involved are professionals, the team was able to play well.Muguna, a former Gor Mahia captain began his career in the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) at Western Stima before joining the record Kenyan Champions.
