From the left, Lwasa’s shot cum cross was parried by Adisa but not far away enough, falling just infront of Omondi who made it 2-1.With 15 minutes left to play, Collins ‘Korea’ Omondi made a triple change, bringing in the trio of Chris Opondo, Steve Kimari and Douglas Koech for Ronald Sichenje, Khalid Jumaan, and Baron Oketch. He further followe that change with another as Francis Wasike coming on for Daniel Otieno.K’Ogalo were dealt a blow in the latter stages of the game as Emery Bayisenge had to come off after seemingly pulling his hamstring, with Paul Ochuoga coming in to replace him.In stoppage time, Ochuoga almost gave Gor the third after being picked byPatrick Kaddu who had just come on for Benson Omala but the right back saw his effort miss by inches.Gor Mahia Startig XI: Gad Matthews, Geoffrey Ochieng, Dennis Ng’ang’a, Emery Bayisenge, Ernest Wendo, Shaffiq Kagimu, Boniface Omondi, Benson Omala, Austin Omondi, George OdhiamboSubs: Caleb Otieno, Paul Ochuoga, Bryson Wangai, Sylvester Owino, John Ochieng, Alpha Onyango, John Macharia, Peter Lwasa, Patrick KadduMathare United Starting XI: Omar Adisa, Fidel Otieno, Brian Okeyo, John Kuol, Geoffrey Shiveka, Geoffrey Ochieng, Curtis Wekesa, Khalid Jumaan, Baron Oketch, Daniel Otieno, Ronald SichenjeSubs: Brian Olang’o, Gideon Were, Tony Odhiambo, Lennox Kariuki,Steve Kimari, Derrick Ikholi, Francis Wasike, Chris Opondo, Douglas Koech
