The two most in form teams in the 2022/2023 Kenya Women Premier League (KWPL), Gaspo Women and Vihiga Queens, once again staked their claim for the league title this season as they won their respective league matches played on Saturday to ensure the fight for the crown is extended into another week.With both sides having been tied on 40 points after the opening 17 matches, wins picked in matchday 18 ensured the two had only goal difference to separate them with only four matches to go before the season draws to a close.
