All 18 teams taking part in the 2022/2023 Football Kenya Federation Premier League will receive a massive shot in the arm from the recently signed broadcasting deal between FKF and Tanzanian broadcasting company Azam TV.In news confirmed by Mozzart Sport, all teams in the top flight are set to receive 300,000 shillings from the short term deal signed between the two entities allowing Azam to air two matches from the Round 30 fixtures slated for this weekend 13-14 May 2023.Azam TV to air Mashemeji Derby and Tusker, Kariobangi Sharks clashes“We are delighted to announce that the federation has secured a short-term broadcasting sponsorship deal with Azam Media Limited for the FKF PL round of 30 matches.As part of the agreement, Azam Sports will broadcast FKF-PL round 30 match no. 263 (Kariobangi Sharks FC vs Tusker FC) scheduled to be played on May 13, 2023 at Nyayo National Stadium and FKF-PL round 30 match no. 269 (Gor Mahia FC vs AFC Leopards SC) scheduled to be played at Nyayo National Stadium, on May 14, 2023.The aforementioned League matches will be aired live on both Azam TV and Azam online platforms, with each of the 18 FKF PL clubs receiving KES 300,000 as part of the deal,” a letter from FKF to club CEO, seen by Mozzart Sport read.Azam TV will broadcast two FKF Premier League matches this weekend.Kariobangi Sharks vs Tusker FC on Saturday and Gor Mahia vs AFC Leopards on Sunday.
