FUFA hand over their joint AFCON bid to government ahead of submission deadline

Uganda, who are looking to partner Kenya and Tanzania in hosting the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), have officially handed over their joint East African bid to their government ahead of the CAF submission deadline that will be on Tuesday 23 May 2023.The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) team, led by Moses Magogo on Friday officially handed over the joint bid to the government team led by Sports Minister Peter Ogwang, Chairman Ambrose Tashobya and General Secretary Dr Ogwel Benard.BREAKING: The @OfficialFUFA Team, led by @MosesMagogo, has today officially handed over the joint East African bid for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations, to the government Team led by Hon.
