Emiliano Grillo defeats Adam Schenk, wins 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge

Five players were within four shots of the lead entering the final round of the 2023 Charles Schwab Challenge, setting up for a must-watch final round at the most-visited course in PGA Tour history.

Playing in the penultimate group, Emiliano Grillo made a double bogey on his final hole to shoot a 2-under 68 and drop back into a three-way tie for first at 8 under alongside Adam Schenk (72) and Harry Hall (73), who were in the final pairing of the day. Grillo and Schenk then advanced to a playoff, and in the end it was Grillo who came out on top, claiming his second victory on Tour at Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, after two playoff holes.

Scottie Scheffler (67) and Hall finished T-3 at 7 under, with Paul Haley II (67) in fifth at 6 under.

Colonial Country Club, a John Bredemus and Perry Maxwell design, has hosted the PGA Tour 79 times, making Colonial the longest-running non-major on the Tour’s schedule. Next week the PGA Tour – led by the world’s top three – heads to the 2023 Memorial Tournament at Jack Nicklaus’s Muirfield Village in Dublin, Ohio.
