Nzoia Sugar braced up for potential mass walkout in off season transfer window

Nzoia Sugar FC chairman Evance Kadenge admits that, they could lose star players at the end of the season but is now worried, saying they have identified many players who can ably replace the potential departees. The 2022–23 season has largely been successful for the millers, who occupy the third position in the log and remain in the title race with two matches left before the season concludes. This is in sharp contrast to last season, where they were at the wrong end of the log for the better part of the campaign.##NAJAVA_MECA_7299437##The millers are struggling financially, and star players such as; Joseph Mwangi, Hassan Beja, Boniface Munyendo, Humphrey Katasi, Ian Karani, and Moses Mwale, among others, have caught the eye of other clubs that are plotting an off-season raid.Kadenge is, however, calm despite the possibility that he could lose a good number of his key players.”It’s a big possibility because if teams come with big offers, it becomes difficult to keep hold of your best players. We are aware that this can happen, but we are not worried at all,” he said.”Over the years, we’ve let our players join other teams and managed to replace them.” I don’t think there’s a Premier League team without a player from Nzoia Sugar FC. We don’t keep hold of players who want out, but the terms have to be mutually beneficial,” he continued. He adds that they have a catalog of players who could fill slots vacated by players who opt out of the club.”The truth is, we have identified so many players, but we can’t accommodate all of them. We have players from lower leagues, schools, and tournaments, and they are all good. We will rope in a number that we can accommodate and also based on the players that will leave us. Replacing departing players has never been a problem for us, ” he added.Coach Salim Babu is reportedly being courted by a number of clubs as well.Faith Kipyegon smashes 1500m world record
