It seems that the Premier League really does never end. The last round was played on May 28th, and the next season’s schedule has been revealed today. Exactly at 11 am Nairobi time, all 380 fixtures were confirmed at once, and already on the first day, the big derby will be played at Stamford Bridge, where Chelsea will host Liverpool. Manchester City will start their quest for another title in Burnley, a newcomer to the league led by former City captain Vincent Company. Newcastle will be the team with the toughest schedule in the first five weeks of the new league. They host Aston Villa on the opening they, before travelling to Etihad to play with Man City in Matchweek 2. Covid-19 pandemic was the reason for the disruption the first time, while the World Cup held in Qatar was the second one. For next season, the clubs will have only one mini break, between 13 and 20 January. The first round will be played on Saturday 12th of August, while the season finishes on Sunday, 19 May 2024.
