Updated odds for 2023 U.S. Open: Rickie Fowler, the 36-hole leader, is not the favorite to win

Thirty-six holes of the 2023 U.S. Open at Los Angeles Country Club are in the books, and the leaderboard is loaded with star power.

Rickie Fowler, who set the U.S. Open scoring record Thursday with an 8-under 62 (it was matched by Xander Schauffele 20 minutes later), is alone at the top at 10 under after a second-round 68.

Wyndham Clark, who won for the first time on Tour at the Wells Fargo Championship last month, continues to play well and is alone in second at 9 under while Rory McIlroy is at 8 under, tied for third with Schauffele, and is searching for his first major title since 2014.
