AS Roma did it again. Just like last season, when they picked up some great free agents (Paolo Dybala, Andrea Belotti, Nemanja Matić, Ola Solbakken), Jose Mourinho and his sports sector have already brought in two fantastic free agents: Frankfurt’s defender Evan Ndicka and Lyon’s creative midfielder Houssem Aouar. Roma need more players as they will have to rotate, considering they have three competitions next season and they will continue to look for other good deals. But, for some of them they will have to pay. Roma’s attack is severely crippled by the heavy injury of Tammy Abraham. The former Chelsea man suffered a long-term knee injury on the last day of the season. With often injured Dybala and reserve striker Belotti, Mourinho won’t be able to ‘attack’ the Champions League place. So, Roma are looking to boost the forward positions. And two Africans are on the radar. Leicester has a number of good players in all positions and need to trim down the wage bill, meaning that every player is for sale if the price is right. Number 1 option is certainly AS Roma childhood fan and out of favor West Ham striker Gianluca Scamacca, but the next two are Africans Kelechi Iheanacho and Patson Daka.
