Greatest fear for Roma – Chelsea thinking of buying Dybala

Being in financial trouble forced Roma to act a bit like Barcelona in the last two years, to buy free agents and save money. And while the Catalans were not so good at it, the Giallorossi moved for a couple of players last and this season, and they all look great. And the best of all is Paolo Dybala. The Argentinian left Juventus last season and expected much, but no big club was willing to pay the wage he was asking, not considering his history of injuries. So, he had to settle with Roma and Jose Mourinho, and he made the right choice. But after a great season in the capital of Italy, other clubs are interested, and Roma fans are frightened.Mauricio Pochettino has reportedly included Paulo Dybala on his transfer wish-list, what’s your thoughts on this? pic.twitter.com/Ey61gSVPrE— Frank Khalid OBE (@FrankKhalidUK) July 6, 2023 The Argentinian made 38 competitive appearances for Roma, scoring 18 goals and providing eight assists, which is his best overall performance in the last five years. According to Portuguese transfer expert Pedro Almeida, he caught the attention of Chelsea, who made an approach to Dybala’s agent. But it sounds a bit unrealistic, although the best part of any deal is the release clause – only 12 million euros. When the Argentinian decided to sign for Roma due to insufficient offers elsewhere, he inserted a clause in his contract in which any European club interested could buy him for only 12 million euros, while for other clubs in Italy, the price is 20 million. On their side, Roma inserted a clause that they can deny any clause by increasing his salary to 6 million per season.Mourinho on the lookout for another United’s playerGoing back to the beginning of the story and Roma’s shortage of funds, there is some good news on other fronts. There are currently two good players on the market, and Roma doesn’t have money for any of them: Davide Frattesi and Gianluca Scamacca. Ironically, both are born, and bread Roma fans, who used to play for younger categories, but the club decided to sell them. And now, when they tried to bring back both, they failed. Frattesi was out of reach with a 25 million tag, while West Ham wants to sell Scamacca, and Roma only has the money for a loan. But, years ago, when Giallorossi decided to sell Frattesi to Sassuolo in 2017 for only 5 million, they inserted a clause which says that the club will earn 30% of any future sale. So, after Inter Milan officially signs Frattesi, Roma will receive around 10 million euros in compensation.##NAJAVA_MECA_7356090##
