Former international Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo has advised the newly-promoted side Shabana to sign experienced players so as to thrive in the top division.Omollo who has handled a number of top league sides in the country said, history had proven that players with top flight experience was a key ingredient for survival at the highest level.##NAJAVA_MECA_7370727##“I remember when I earned promotion with Mahakama, we maintained the same team in the top league. We realized that we were playing well but still losing matches and, in the end, got relegated,” he pointed out during an interview with Radio 47.“When we looked back, we realized that though the players had helped us to earn promotion, they did not have the experience to play at the top level,” he said.“I am not asking Shabana to overhaul their squad. I have been informed that the works will take about one and a half months which means that we cannot play our matches there.“In the meantime, we will use either Awendo or Narok Stadia for our home matches,” he said.The stadium needs a perimeter wall as well as fixing of the drainage system among many other areas.
