The world governing body FIFA has appointed Kenyan FIFA referee Mary Njoroge as the second assistant referee for the Women’s World Cup Group E match pitting Portugal against Vietnam.Mary Njoroge will be officiating alongside Salima Mukansanga from Rwanda, who will serve as the Center Referee for the match. Additionally, Queency Victoire from Mauritius will be the First Assistant Referee, and Anahi Fernandez from Uruguay will act as the fourth official.##NAJAVA_MECA_7390575##In February this year, she was one of the match officials chosen to officiate the FIFA Women’s World Cup playoff in New Zealand.This is not the first time Mary Njoroge has officiated at the FIFA Women’s World Cup. She officiated in the 2019 edition, which took place from June 7 to July 7.Njoroge is one of the few Kenyan referees who have been getting international assignments.
