It started excellent for Roma. As the transfer window started in Europe, they signed two excellent free agents: defender Evan Ndicka from Frankfurt and midfielder Houssem Aouar from Lyon. And then they stopped. They did aquire Leeds’ Rasmus Kristensen on loan, but that signing is not close to the first two. Gialorossi are in desperate need of a striker. They currently have three: Tammy Abraham, Andrea Belotti and Paolo Dybala. The first is seriously injured and won’t be available for the next six months, the second one didn’t score a single Serie A goal all season, and Dybala cannot be the only striker in the team, especially considering his injury record. The Roma management is under pressure to find a striker, the Italian press knows that too, but coach Jose Mourinho is not making it easy for them. On the contrary.Inter want Scamacca and offer the Hammers a better deal than RomaRoma finished their pre-season in Portugal, and at the very end, the whole team took a photo. But it can be seen that Mourinho and his staff appear to hug an invisible man, as a large empty spot was deliberately left near Roma coach. Enter Inter, who offered 25 million euros plus additional five for bonuses, something with the Hammers are ready to accept, while Gialorossi must turn to other targets. One is Alvaro Morata, but Atletico Madrid wants only cash, and the other is Santos youngster Marcos Leonardo.
