PSG make their move – 80 million for Benfica’s Ramos

Complete overhaul of Paris Saint-Germain. Again. Kylian Mbappe might or might not play, but he has no future in Paris, Lionel Messi left to the USA, Marco Veratti is on the verge of moving to Saudi Arabia, Mauro Icardi is in Galatasaray, Christophe Galter got sacked…So, new coach (again) and new players (again) are on the cards for the Parisians. French champion must find a proper striker for the future, and Hugo Ekitike is currently not that player. So, sporting director Luis Campos decided to raid his favorite country (Portugal) in a search for the proper number 9. His eyes are on Benfica, or more precisely on Gonsalo Ramos. And apparently he saw a guy they were looking for – 27 goals in 47 games last season, along with 12 assists.Leaving Las Vegas and leaving Barca: Ansu Fati dedicates the winner against Milan to DembeleRadio Monte Carlo was the first to report that the Parisians had taken action and sent offer worth 80,000,000 euros to Benfica, which includes bonuses. Portuguese ‘A Bola’ clarified the proposal: the fixed part is around 65,000,000 and another 15,000,000 euros are in bonuses, which are easily achievable. Everything has already been agreed with the player, who is getting a five-year contract and certainly a much bigger check than the one he’s getting every month now. We are just waiting for Benfica’s response, and they know how to negotiate. PSG are known to be specific. Luis Campos has been trying to bring Ramos ever since he started cooperating with the French club, and now he has found a like-minded person in the new boss Luis Enrique. In Portugal, sources close to Benfica are even saying that last season, everybody in the club were surprised when Liverpool came for David Nunez and not Ramos, but nobody complained, since they earned heavily on his transfer and kept the better player for one more season. ##NAJAVA_MECA_7403155##
