SCHOOL GAMES : Solidarity Boys storm semis as Shanderema, Agoro share spoils

St Antony Boys Kitale popularly known as Solidarity Boys strengthened their pursuit to clinch this year’s KSSSA Championship by humbling Coast representatives Serani Boys 2-0 to storm semi finals of the hotly contested National ball games in a match played at Kakamega School on Wednesday mid morning.Amos Wanjala and goal poacher Alvin Kasavuli were on target as the Trans Nzoia champions dumped Serani out of the competition after handing them their second defeat in a row.The celebrated six time National Champions got off the mark in the 17th minute though were unable to break through the stubborn Serani defense in spite of frequent attacks from the lethal duo of Wanjala and Kibet. Wanjala latched on a loose ball from the midfield position to chip over Serani custodian and double Solidarity lead as they held on the scores to advance into the next round of the school games.
