The most iconic hole at TPC Scottsdale is the par-3 16th. Every year, fans sprint through the gates hoping to earn a seat in the expansive coliseum for just a chance to witness history — and to throw a few adult beverages if it does happen.
But ask most golf fans, and they’ll tell you the 17th is the better hole. A downhill short par 4 that has been the turning point on countless Sundays at the WM Phoenix Open.
Well, an amateur golfer made the hole look like a mini golf track when he drained his tee shot for a hole-in-one.
Isn’t it weird seeing TPC without all the monster grandstands?
