TaylorMade unveils Ryder Cup Stealth 2 drivers

Two weeks from today, the first shots of the 2023 Ryder Cup will be filling the skies of Italy as the United States looks to retain the cup while Team Europe looks to win once again on home soil and keep the cup on its side of the Atlantic. TaylorMade has staff players on both teams, including Scottie Scheffler and Collin Morikawa representing the United States and Rory McIlroy leading the way for Europe.

TaylorMade is releasing limited edition Stealth 2 Ryder Cup drivers to celebrate the biennial event, one celebrating Team USA and the other specially adorned to honor Team Europe.

Like the standard Stealth 2 drivers, the Ryder Cup editions have a 60-layer carbon fiber face, extensive carbon fiber crown and sole panels, a Speed Pocket slot in the sole, an adjustable hosel mechanism and an aerodynamic shape.

The Team USA edition has a red, white and blue theme, with a navy blue crown and a red hitting area with stars and “USA” in the center. A line of stars also adorns the blue carbon fiber sole plate, while “TEAM USA” has been added to the sole weight. It comes standard with a Fujikura Ventus Red 5 shaft, a red/blue Golf Pride MCC grip and a stars-and-stripes-themed head cover.

The Team Europe Stealth 2 has a bright club crown with gold accents around the back and a blue carbon fiber face adorned with a gold circle of stars. A golden line of stars has been added to the carbon fiber sole plate, and “TEAM EUROPE” has been added to its sole weight and the bottom of the club. The Team Europe edition has a Fujikura Ventus Blue shaft, a blue and yellow Golf Pride MCC grip and a Team Europe headcover.

Both drivers will be available in 9 and 10.5-degree versions and cost $599.99 on taylormadegolf.com. You can see several close-up images of the clubs below.
