Brooklyn’s 25-year-old Hitchins (16-0, 7 KOs) looks to improve his unbeaten record and retain his belt. 34-year-old Zepeda (36-3 27 KOs) of Long Beach, California targets to secure his second win in a row. In addition, the vacant WBC ‘Silver’ and WBO NABO straps are up for grabs.
The co-main event features British Conor Benn (21-0, 14 KOs) of Ilford, Essex making his ring return against Mexico’s Rodolfo Orozco (32-3-3, 24 KOs) of Guasave, Sinaloa. The bout is scheduled for 10 rounds at super welterweight.
Among Hitchins vs Zepeda undercard bouts, Chicago’s unified WBA and WBC welterweight champion Jessica McCaskill (12-3 5 KOs) and British WBO titleholder Sandy Ryan (6-1 2 KOs) of Derby, Derbyshire square off in the championship unification. The world championship bout is scheduled for 10 rounds.
