A case in which two former members of the AFC Leopards technical bench have sued the club for unfair dismissal will be heard from 23 January 2024, the Sports Disputes Tribunal (SDT) has ruled.The two, former physiotherapist Boniventure Odire and goalkeeper trainer Lawrence Webo want to be paid millions over breach of contract.##NAJAVA_MECA_7722523##The matter was mentioned on Tuesday 5 December afternoon before SDT chairman John Ohaga, who after listening to both parties gave the direction.Ohaga gave AFC Leopards 14 days to file their response, while the lawyer for both officials was given seven days to respond to the same.The matter will be heard by a panel led by prominent lawyer Njeri Onyango, Peter Ochieng and Mary Kimani.Odire is demanding Sh.2 million from AFC Leopards while Webo wants to be paid Sh.5 million.The two were fired in October when the club undertook an overhaul of the technical bench over poor performance.Duo heads to SDT demanding millions from AFC LeopardsApart from the two, Tom Juma, the former head coach, was also fired, and is reportedly demanding Sh.4.5 million from the club.In the middle of these cases, Leopards are currently paying former coach Patrick Aussems a Sh20 Million slapped on them by world governing body FIFA for breach of contract.The debt to Aussems had remained outstanding for long, forcing the club to be banned from signing new players until they agreed on a payment plan with the Belgian.Surprisingly, since Leopards instituted changes in the technical bench, the team has remained winless in the last one month, and continues to drop points as the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKFPL) moves to half way mark.The team drew 0-0 against Tusker on Monday in Machakos, continuing the winless streak for new coach Thomas Trucha.AFC Leopards and Tusker FC play to a goalless draw
