Kenya Police head coach Zdravko Logarusic unhappy with FKF

Kenya Police coach Zdravko Logarusic has taken issue with Football Kenya Federation (FKF) for retaining the services of some of the club’s technical bench members who served in the junior national team for a lengthy spell.Logarusic said the team felt the absence of the personnel deployed to the junior national team during the recently concluded CECAFA U18 boys’ tournament.“My assistant Salim Babu was with the national under-18 team for over three weeks yet we were still expected to play. It meant I had to work with a big group of players for all those weeks and it was not effective at all,” he lamented.##NAJAVA_MECA_7744846##Logarusic drew FKF to read and abide by the FIFA guidelines to avoid similar occurrences in the future where officials desert their workstations for national team responsibilities.“FIFA rules state that players and other staff should be away for just seven days, not three weeks as has been the case and this needs to be looked into so as not to affect some teams as has been happening to us,” he said.Kenya Police: Why we fired BarazaBabu resumed club duties after a three-week absence with the under-18 national team that finished runners-up to Uganda in the just concluded 2023 Cecafa under-18 championships held in Kisumu and Kakamega.Meanwhile, Logarusic has clarified that the playing unit and members of his technical bench have all been paid their November salaries as scheduled. The former Gor Mahia tactician was heavily criticized on social media for reportedly making ludicrous financial demands to the management. “We were all paid in the first week of December plus our match bonuses are up to date,” he said.Logarusic lifts the lid on FKFPL experience after joining Police FCThe Croat said he will give his players a seven-day holiday after their last match of this year.“I will leave the country for one week for my annual holiday and the players will also have an opportunity to go and rest after the last match this year.
