Shot stopper Awuor chasing top shape with Christmas tourney

Harambee Starlets goalkeeper Lillian Awuor has for the last two days been featuring for Rabango FC in the ongoing Ndege Annual Tournament in Siaya County, Alego Usonga Sub-County.Awuor, who plays professionally for French side Olympique de Valence says that playing alongside and against men and not women in the tournament, offers her the much needed challenge as she strives to keep herself in top shape ahead of league resumption in January.##NAJAVA_MECA_7759090##“In as much as we’re in the off season, for us ladies if you stay away from action for even a short period of time, our bodies can easily go out of form and it becomes very difficult to regain it,” the former Vihiga Queens custodian told Mozzart Sport at Awelo Primary School.“I prefer playing against men because they give me the challenge, and keep me on my toes; it’s something I’ve done since my childhood.
