FC Talanta defender Brian Okoth has disclosed that he has received a number of offers from the FKF Premier League (FKF-PL) as the January transfer window nears. The left-footed central defender has been key to the Ken Kenyatta-led team this campaign, attracting the interest of several local sides keen on pricing him away once the mid-season transfer window opens on January 8th.##NAJAVA_MECA_7765204##In an interview with Mozzart Sport, the former Vihiga Bullets man admitted that he had several local offers on the table. “I will not lie; I have some offers, and some clubs have openly expressed interest in signing me. I think I have had an impressive season so far, hence the approaches for my services,” he stated. When asked whether he will be walking out of the club, Okoth hinted at ending the campaign with Talanta. “I think I will end my season here. It is important that I play here until the end of the season so that I can leave the team in a good position. Talanta and coach Ken Kenyatta have been good to me since I joined the club, and leaving at the end of the season will be more respectful for them so that they can plan for next season well.””That said, this is football, and a lot could happen within a short time, so it is a matter of wait and see. But as of now, I am an FC Talanta player, and the plan is to stay put until at least the end of the current season,” he added.Apart from Okoth, his partner Ian Omondi is another player being targeted by several clubs, and there is a possibility that he will walk out of the club this January as well.Mwalala lauds fast-rising midfielder, tips him to earn Harambee Stars call up soon
