Silibwet Leons creative player Obed Biketi has trained his sights on being a regular starter for the National Super League club after leaping from fourth-tier side Kapa FC to the second tier.Biketi joined the Bomet-based club at the start of the season, committed himself to a year-long contract, and has featured eight times in his debut campaign.##NAJAVA_MECA_7778378##He earned his debut against Kisumu All Stars racking 20 minutes under his belt and almost came off with a goal.“I’m fighting to be in the starting eleven regularly,” he said candidlyHaving gained the deserved experience in the league, the 20-year-old has challenged himself to hit double-figure goal contributions as he seeks to take his assists tally to 13 and at least score nine times.“I have caught up with the system of play despite having challenges with the coaching staff. I did not expect to settle in swiftly and get running in the league but I am glad I am here and I will make things happen. The coaches have appreciated my work rate but I don’t want that to get into my mind for now, as I have a long path to follow,” stated the former Bushiri Blue Stars midfielder.“I now have the opportunity and I want to make it happen for me as well as the club. As long as I get the time (to play) I will make it count.
