Ghost Mulee: FKF PL title race remains wide open

Former Harambee Stars and Tusker FC head coach Jacob ‘Ghost’ Mulee believes that the top six teams in the FKF Premier League can all win the league this campaign.Gor Mahia leads the pack with 37 points, while Kakamega Homeboyz in sixth place are ten points adrift after the conclusion of the first 17 matches, marking the end of the first leg of the campaign.##NAJAVA_MECA_7788995##The second leg kicks off on Saturday, marking a crucial phase of the season where teams will vie for the title, while others will fight to avoid relegation. Although Gor Mahia seems to be favorites for the title with a seven-point lead at the top, Ghost believes that the race remains open and warns Gor that they should remain vigilant.“Gor Mahia has been brilliant so far, having lost zero matches and conceded the fewest goals (7). Their consistency has been a pillar for them, but that doesn’t mean they should sit back and relax,” he told Citizen Digital. The former goalkeeper believes that the in-form Nairobi City Stars and the fast-rising Tusker FC will remain in the title race until the end.“Another team that has gained momentum and is keeping up there is City Stars, and Tusker will also be among the teams to keep a keen eye on. I want to tell you that all the teams sitting in the first six positions have what it takes to win the league title this season because the gap between them is small, and there are still a lot of matches to be played,” he added.Round 8 matches will be played on Saturday and Sunday. All set for Safaricom Chapa Dimba Coastal regional finals
