Erick Ouma thrilled to join Polish champions

Kenyan international Erick Ouma has expressed his delight in joining Polish champions Raków Częstochowa after completing his transfer to the club on Thursday evening. This came after weeks of speculation surrounding his future.The left-back concluded his four-year tenure with the Swedish side AIK on Thursday, finalizing a multi-million deal with the Polish champions. He also pointed out that the club plays what he describes as attractive football.“Poland has a good league, and I am proud to be a part of this great team, which is performing well and playing good football,” he shared with the club’s media.When asked about settling in Poland, the speedy fullback mentions that the similarity in weather between the two countries makes it easy for him to adjust quickly.“I have not spoken to anyone because I think Poland and Sweden have the same kind of weather; it is quite similar,” he added.Ouma joined AIK from Vasalunds IF in 2020 and made 104 official appearances for the club. As he departs, he expresses gratitude to his former employers.“I just want to say that I have enjoyed every moment in AIK during the four years that I have been here. Every moment meant a lot to me.
