Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson has expressed interest in a loan move for Manchester City’s Kalvin Phillips.On the eve of their FA Cup clash against Everton, Hodgson admitted that a permanent move for the 28-year-old might be too expensive for Palace. However, a temporary switch could work out well for everyone, especially with Euro 2024 coming up.”He’s a good player,” Hodgson said. “I would like to think that if Kalvin Phillips is available and a possibility for the club once again, there will be financial restrictions, who knows whether the club feels they will be able to afford that but if you’re talking about the level of player, I don’t feel there will be many managers who would not say ‘yeah, we will be really happy to have him come to the club’.”City is looking at players as Phillips is close to the exit doorsThe England international has yet to start a Premier League game this season and could leave City this month.”As far as I’m concerned, it’s a name that’s out there.
