Kakamega Homeboyz has confirmed the departure of the experienced duo of Faruk Shikalo and Robinson Kamura.Homeboyz, through their social media pages, announced that Kamura left the club following the expiry of his year-long deal while Shikalo exits on mutual consent.Kamura, a central defender joined Homeboyz before the start of the 2022-2023 season as a free agent.##NAJAVA_MECA_7812730##Before joining Homeboyz, he was out of action for close to six months having left KCB in July 2022 after his deal with the club expired.The former AFC Leopards skipper helped Homeboyz land their first-ever major title last season as he played a crucial role in the Mozzart Bet Cup triumph.Homeboyz beat Tusker 1-0 in the final played on July 1 at the Kasarani Stadium where Kevin Amwayi scored the winner.Kakamega Homeboyz handed Division Two side Solian in Mozzart Bet Cup drawKamura featured in all cup matches including the final and was played in the majority of the league matches in the past term.“Robinson Kamura has left the club following the expiry of his one-year contract with the club.
