Five minutes. That‘s how much time Vitor Roque needed to create chaos and gives Barcelona a slim 1-0 win over Barcelona. He entered the game in the 62nd minute, scored a minute later with his first touch with the ball and then forced a red card for the Osasuna defender to ease the life for himself and his teammates. In the end, it was enough for a much needed win for Barcelona, who lost their last two games and conceded nine goals against Athletic and Villarreal. When coach Xavi announced last week that he is leaving the club in June, a some sort of reaction was expected from the players, as they were shaken up by the news, but tonight they were anemic and without creative spark again. And that resulted with a lot of possession and nothing else especially in the first half, until Vitor Roque came in and saved the day.The game was particularly weak in the first half, in which Osasuna had one good chance, while the hosts only saw Ferran Torres getting injured after 7 minutes. In the second half the situation remained more less the same and Gundogan had his opportunity to give Barca the lead, but he missed it. And then Barca‘s reinforcement from Brazil came in and showed why they believe so much in him at Camp Nou. Joao Cancelo played in an incredible assist from the left-hand side of the penalty area and Roque managed to get in front of his man to head home. Just minutes later, he was fouled hard without a ball by Osasuna captain Unai Garcia who was sent off. It looked that this was it for the guests, but they replied with two fantastic chances, and luckily for Xavi, his reserve keeper Pena was excellent. Lamine Yamal nearly scored his second goal and there were penalty claims from Barcelona after another four on Roque, but VAR didn‘t think it was worth looking. Important win for the hosts who are now back to the third spot, but with one game more than Atletico Madrid..LA LIGA – MATCHDAY 20Postponed matchesWednesday21:00: (1.40) Barcelona (4.70) Osasuna (8.00)23:00: (1.53) Atl.Madrid (4.00) Rayo Vallecano (6.75)***odds are subject to change***
