Things are getting thicker for Shabana as the Football Kenya Federation Premier League returnees suffered yet another defeat after falling 4-0 to Tusker at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay on Sunday.Having appointed former Kenyan international Sammy ‘Pamzo’ Omollo last month in what was seen as an effort aimed at redeeming the club, fortunes haven’t changed.Pamzo had a dream start at Shabana winning the first game in charge 5-2 against Nzoia Sugar but has lost twice and drawn once in the subsequent matches including Sunday’s heavy defeat to Tusker.##NAJAVA_MECA_7863387##Goals from Ugandan, Deogratious Ojok, Shaphan Siwa, Tanzanian forward Ibrahim Joshua, and Joseph Mwangi were enough to grant Tusker their tenth win of the season.The result turned out as sweet revenge for Tusker who fell 1-0 to Shabana in the first leg played at the Kasarani Stadium.Tusker goalkeeper Brian Opondo will be all smiles after keeping a clean sheet in his first-ever start for the club at the competitive level.The race to beat the drop got more interesting after the bottom-placed Nzoia Sugar edged Bidco United 2-1 at Thika Stadium.Despite finishing with ten men, Nzoia grabbed maximum points, throwing some spanner into the relegation works as they trail Shabana by two points.Nzoia secured three points for the fourth time in the season courtesy of goals from Ian Simiyu and David Simiyu.Bidco managed to get their consolation through Douglas Mokaya who was also on target last weekend in their 1-0 win over Tusker.Nzoia played the closing stages of the game with a man less after Ainea Ndete was sent off.Meanwhile, Sofapaka came from a goal down to hold FC Talanta to a 1-1 draw at the Police Sacco Grounds in an early kickoff.Talanta had taken the lead through Edwin Lutta’s own goal but Jacob Onyango struck late to rescue a point for the 209 league champions.Sofapaka who had a start of life in the season to forget have since relieved their relegation fears.
