FKF Women’s Cup: Vihiga, Police target quarters slots

Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Women’s Cup enters the Round of 16 this weekend with eight matches slated for Saturday and Sunday at various venues across the country.Premier League defending champions Vihiga Queens, travel to Sudi Stadium where they take on hosts Kisiwa Starlets on Saturday 23 March from 11 am, paving the way for another clash between Milima Queens who host Nakuru City Queens from 1:30 pm.What Harambee captain Michael Olunga told Rising Stars at JKIA enroute to MalawiThe other match on Saturday pits Kisped Queens against red-hot Kenya Police Bullets, the two sides locking horns from 11 am at Mamboleo Stadium in Kisumu.As they head to the crucial knock-out clash against the lowly Kisiwa Starlets, coach Boniface Nyamunyamu says there will be no complacency on their end, having learned from their past mistakes.“We take on this just as we would any other game, well aware the opponent has nothing to lose and will throw everything at us.
