‘Saka could be out of football by the age of 24’

Since making his debut five years ago, Bukayo Saka has played 248 times for club and country, including 65 goals. He is only 22, and a bright future is ahead of him. That’s the opinion of every coach, player, or fan of football, whether they are Arsenal supporters or not. But, one of the Gunners’ legends fears that the winger’s career might end in the next two years. Bob Wilson played for Arsenal for 11 years and knows something about getting kicked as a goalkeeper during the 1960s. He also saw the number of fouls by the opposition against England international and was very worried. Arsenal complains to the Premier League over Saka’s treatment“What drives me demented is we have one of the best young players and, if we aren’t careful, football will lose him by the time he is 24 or 25 because Bukayo Saka will have been kicked out of the game. Referees don’t seem to see or understand it. There are always a minimum of two players within five yards of Saka and often a third. If they can’t stop him, they kick him. People say, ‘What do you mean? That’s too dramatic. I say there has not been a more kicked player in the Premier League than Bukayo Saka. If he is facing in an attacking position, and he is taking them on, that is the time I worry. I really worry for Bukayo” said Wilson to Daily Telegraph. Saka explains the hilarious story of his mum tucking him to bed the night before the Arsenal debutOf course, what Wilson is saying is not new. Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta already talked about this, but his predictions were not as gloomy as Wilson’s. “I think he’s getting used to it! I don’t think that’s going to change, especially the way he plays & the way he attracts players so he better get used to it” said the Spaniard recently. But Arsenal actually tried to do something about it. As reported by Daily Mail, Arsenal have complained to the Premier League’s refereeing body back in January about what they believe to be rough treatment of Bukayo Saka by opponents. They even went over the top a bit with it, as they proposed that a referee should issue a yellow card to an offender after the first strong foul on Saka rather than waiting for the second start.##NAJAVA_MECA_7981113##
