Highly-rated Kenyan forward Aldrine Kibet has seamlessly adapted into the Nastic Soccer Academy in Spain.At just 17 years old, the youngster is currently honing his craft at the academy, and not even the freezing weather in the Spanish nation is stopping him from achieving his long-term dream.In an exclusive with Mozzart Sport at the Nou Estadi Costa Daurada in Tarragona, Spain, the youngster noted that playing in the country was a dream come true for him. He explained that he was braving the tough weather in Spain to bring his A-game on board.“Everything is good so far. The first challenge was the weather, but with time I got used to it. The cold goes as low as 6,7,8 degrees but we have warm clothing like winter jackets and gloves which we put on while training,” he explained.The prodigy played against the Talanta Hela U19 football team in a friendly match at the Nou Estadi on Tuesday evening with the hosts defeating the Kenyans 3-1. Here, training is more advanced. Here, we are taught the very small details including passing, and how you move. In Kenya, we are shown the bigger picture but not the tiny details that are important.”He noted that his goal is to play professionally, and the Academy would propel him to higher levels in his football career.Nastic Sports Academy is home to several young Kenyans including Junior Stars captain, Amos Wanjala, Ismael Alal Odhiambo, Ezekiel Nguwa, and Alvin Kasavuli – who joined in September 2023 among others.Kibet broke into the limelight during the 2023 national school games that were held in Kakamega County.
