Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga has lauded his teammates’ spirit and togetherness in the squad for their exploits in Malawi where Kenya clinched the Four Nations tournament trophy with a perfect record. Olunga had a memorable tournament where he netted five of Kenya’s seven goals including a hat trick in the final against Zimbabwe to hand the nation a first trophy since the CECAFA 2017 triumph. ##NAJAVA_MECA_7985221##Speaking in a short presser at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) the skipper noted the victory in Malawi was a morale booster to the boys at the same time complimenting the quality of the squad that he believes is coming up with a blend of experience and young rookies eager to learn. “This trophy is a good confidence booster for the boys, and the team is now coming up well. We have a good squad with a blend of experience and young players which has improved togetherness in the team,” offered Olunga.
