Ronald Okoth appointed new Sofapaka CEO

Ex-football player Ronald Okoth has been appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer of FKF Premier League club Sofapaka FC.The 34-year-old, who announced his new role on Tuesday, comes in to replace Pastor Jimmy Carter Ambajo, an inspirational figure at the club that transitioned from an M.A.O.S Ministries church team to its current status – Sofapaka – in 2004.“Excited to embark on a new era at my former club as the new CEO,” Okoth, whose 13-year professional footballing career ended with a season stint at Sofapaka in the 2019-2020 posted on social media. “Honored and pleased to step into this new role with a purpose to spearhead more progress and success in the club.“Special thanks to Club President Mr. Elly Kalekwa for trusting me with this exciting opportunity.”Excited to embark on a new era at my former club @FC_Sofapaka as the new CEO.
