It’s golf, sun and family all rolled into one.
The 2024 Masters Par-3 Contest is underway and the event is one of the most popular of the week as wives, girlfriends, children and others accompany the players around the short course at Augusta National Golf Club.
The event started in 1960 on a course where the holes measure from 70 to 140 yards, with three-time Masters champion Sam Snead winning the inaugural contest. Snead also won in 1974 at age 61.
Since then, it has become a family affair.
