Since the beginning of the season, the best tactical move by Barcelona coach Xavi was to announce his departure from Nou Camp at the end of the season. As he explained later, he did it in January to take the pressure off his young and injury-bruised team. And it worked marvellously. Barca is playing excellent even without its two most creative players (Gavi and Pedri), and in recent games, they have accomplished eight wins in their last 11 matches in all competitions, while they have conceded only one goal in their last six matches. Tonight, they conceded two in Paris, but they kept their cool and showed their quality after coming from a 2-1 deficit to score a 3-2 win over PSG in the first leg. This was not the night for young Lamine Yamal (even thou he played well), this was the night of the left winger Raphinha. The Brazilian also scored a brace, and even thou he was criticized and didn’t play for most of the season, he showed his qualities with two great goals and some excellent chances. It was also the night for Xavi, who destroyed PSG with counterattacks and made all the right choices, as Pedri came in and assisted for the second goal, while Christensen’s first touch with the ball resulted in a winning goal. He also stuck with the kids in the first team (Yamal, Cubarsi) and it paid off. On the other side is the loser Luis Enrique, whose players bowed under pressure and Kylian Mbappe, who played badly and had zero shots on target and zero assists.Barcelona certainly didn’t make a good start since they were without a single shot (on or off target) after the first 15 minutes. PSG attacked but also failed to create a clear chance. So, minute after minute, Barca was more and more dangerous, especially with long balls aimed at quick wingers Raphinha and Yamal. The Brazilian needed to waste two good opportunities before he scored the leading goal. He came in front of Donnarumma alone but shot straight at him, then tried a long shot, but the Italian was there to save it, but the third time he was precise. In the 37th minute, Lamal got the ball from Lewandowski and his cross was punched by Donnarumma, but the deflection came to Raphinha who finally managed to score. Lewa also had his chance minutes before, but Nuno Mendes cleared the ball on the goal line. But all that changed in just 10 minutes of the second half. In the space of just two minutes (48th and 50th), Dembele and Vitinha broke Barca’s defence and turned the game around, just like Manchester City did on Tuesday against Madrid, and Bayern against Arsenal. PSG continued to attack just like in the first 15 minutes but then deja-vu: Raphinha again. Pedri was given a chance in the second half after an injury, and his first pass of the game was a great assist to the Brazilian, who shot on sight and equalized. And then it was the time for another contribution from the bench. Andreas Christensen came from the bench and scored the winner in his first touch after both PSG’s defence and keeper Donnarumma failed to act properly after a corner kick. It will be interesting at Camp Nou in six days.UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE – QUARTER-FINALSFirst legTuesdayArsenal – Bayern 2-2 (1-2)/Saka 12, Trossard 76 – Gnabry 18, Kane 32(p)Real Madrid – Man.City 3-3 (2-1)/Dias (og) 12, Rodrygo 14, Valverde 79 – Silva 2, Foden 66, Gvardiol 71/WednesdayAtl.Madrid – Dortmund 2-1 (2-0)/De Paul 4, Lino 32 – Haller 81/PSG – Barcelona 2-3 (0-1)/Dembele 48, Vitinha 50 – Raphinha 37, 62, Christensen 77/
