Follow Tiger Woods Friday at Masters 2024 with shot-by-shot updates from Augusta National

AUGUSTA, Ga. — Tiger Woods is 18 holes away from history.

The Big Cat is back on the prowl at Augusta National Golf Club – one of his favorite courses – this week to make his 26th Masters appearance. Not only that, the five-time green jacket winner is looking to set the all-time record for consecutive Masters cuts made with 24 in a row. Woods tied Fred Couples (1983-2007) and Gary Player (1959-1982) for the current record of 23 at last year’s tournament before he withdrew ahead of the third round.

Woods looked calm and collected and in complete control of his game on Thursday in the humid conditions but was laboring early and often on a brisk Friday morning on the back half of the second nine. After play was suspended due to darkness following a two-and-a-half-hour weather delay to start the day on Thursday, Woods finished his final five holes on Friday and shot a 1-over 73 to begin the tournament. At the time, Woods walked off the course T-35.

Follow Woods’ second round with shot-by-shot updates below as he looks to make the cut once again at the Masters.
