Big Cat’s long Friday is well underway.
He finished his first round of action Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. ET, and his second-round tee time is set for 10:18 a.m. ET. If he is to make the cut, he will set a Masters record of consecutive cuts made (24 straight).
Woods made a bogey after failing to get up-and-in from a bunker on the closing hole. He played his five holes Friday morning in 2 over and sits at 1 over for the tournament going into the second round.
The five-time Masters champion tied Fred Couples (1983-2007) and Gary Player (1959-1982) at 23 at last year’s tournament before he withdrew ahead of the third round.
Woods will again play with Jason Day and Max Homa in the second round. The duo played five holes early Friday morning to finish their first rounds after play was suspended due to darkness on Friday.
The group will be a part of featured group coverage on Masters.com, the Masters App and Paramount+.
The first-round television broadcast runs from 3-7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN, which will catch the end of Woods’ second round. SiriusXM radio will call the action from 2-8 p.m. ET.
