Gor Mahia coach heads to Uganda for coaching course

Gor Mahia FC assistant coach Michael Nam is among the coaches who have passed the mandatory Pre-Entry Examination required to pursue the CAF A Course under The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).Nam, a CAF B license holder, undertook his pre-entry exams in Kenya under the watchful eye of FKF’s Technical Director Michael Amenga for the last two weeks.##NAJAVA_MECA_2104##After passing, he was cleared to proceed to undertake the CAF A Licence, which he will take in Uganda for three months starting June.”Gor Mahia’s Assistant Coach, Michael Nam, has been assigned by CAF to do match analysis with session planning and format to update his CAF B license acquired from Uganda as part of his refresher course to allow him to participate in the CAF A license course.”During this period, he will be under the supervision of FKF Head of Technical and CAF Expert Michael Amenga,” read a statement from FKF three weeks ago.The CAF A course in Uganda attracted over 60 coaches within Uganda and across borders, but only 25 got a place, with 20 spaces for locals and only 5 for coaches from other countries.The examination included theory and practical performance, as well as assessment of coaching CV portfolios.Stars Abroad: Anyembe’s creativity delivers three points for Viborg as Ouma assists in SwedenApart from his CAF coaching credentials, coach Nam holds an International Diploma certificate from the University of Sport Sciences in Hungary, an FA Level 2 Certificate in the UK, and a UEFA B Diploma from the Republic of Ireland.The CAF A Course is scheduled to start at the Jinja FUFA Technical Center from June to September 2024.”I’m glad to be among the coaches selected to pursue our CAF Licenses.
