Luanda Villa head coach Tom Tera, has raised concerns of potential sabotage within the team following their last weekend’s 2-1 loss to Mara Sugar in a National Super League (NSL) match played at Mumboha Grounds. The manner in which the team lost three points triggered Tera to question the commitment of some players in the unit. Earlier in the season, Villa had made their backyard a fortress but, they are no longer as lethal as they used to be while playing in front of home fans as, the team has a single win in the last eight matches. This appears unacceptable in the eyes of Tera.##NAJAVA_MECA_8088235##Expressing disappointment over the loss, Tera highlighted lapses in concentration and missed opportunities as contributing factors. He emphasized the need for unity in the team and warned of dire consequences to those derailing the team’s focus.”We should have won it, but somehow we allowed Mara to come from behind, equalize, and score the winning goal in the dying minutes of the game. My players lost concentration in the last seven minutes of the game despite exhibiting a good game and failing to convert our chances,” he told said.Ochieng: Three wins will secure Shabana’s safetyDespite the recent poor run, Tera remains determined to salvage the season and maintain Villa’s NSL status. He acknowledged the support of the team’s loyal fans and pledged to strive for a respectable league finish.”The technical bench suspects that some players could be out to sabotage our ambitions. If they are found guilty after the investigations, they will for sure regret it. We therefore strongly warn against any form of mischief,” he fired his warning.”I must admit that it is very tricky to continue fighting for the NSL title under these circumstances. I can only promise our fans that Luanda Villa will finish in a good position,” Tera added, reflecting on their ninth position in the league.Villa will host Darajani Gogo in their next assignment.NSL: Mulembe United stun Rainbow to keep alive survival hopes
